Age to attend
How old do you have to be to attend a class?
Generally, kids 8 and up can make it through an adult class without getting fidgeting - and if they do we have a lounge!
Without an adult - unless explicitly stated in the description, ages 12 and up are welcome to attend provided we have (1) parent/guardian permission (signature on file) and (2) emergency contact information and consent forms. Safety is our #1 priority.

Which class/es is/are best for me?
You are welcome to attend any class and move at your pace with your poses without fear of judgment. If you are nervous and really want to understand a bit more, please check out the WHICH LEVEL page.

Equipment
Do you have mats people can use at the studio?
Yes. You are welcome to bring your own or use ours. We also have straps, bolsters, blocks, and much more.
Pricing Plan
I have a Monthly / Annual Unlimited pass and would like to suspend my account because I will be away from Port for some time. Is this possible?
Yes. (1) If you are going on vacation or going away for 2 weeks or more, I will suspend your account upon request to push your pay renewal date into the future. This way you don't pay while you are away. (2) If your doctor restricts your activity.
You need to notify Laura - laura@portwashingtonyoga.com - in advance with the dates so I know to do this. I cannot adjust it after the fact.

Which pricing plans auto-renew?
Any Monthly or Annual plans automatically renew on the same day as the period prior.
Pricing Plan
My Monthly / Annual account auto-renewed but I did not mean for this to happen. Can I get a refund?
Monthly: No. However, you can cancel to prevent the next month's payment from being charged.
Annual: No. In the past, we had refunded partial payments. However, these leads to confusion, frustration, and unnecessary costs. Consequently, effective 10/8/25, we will no longer offer any refunds.

I purchased a 5-pack / 10-pack but could not use them within the allotted 3-month period. Can I extend the expiration date?
If you contact Laura - laura@portwashingtonyoga.com - prior to the expiration date and provide a general reason for the extension, I will extend. However, once the period expires, I cannot systematically extend. Therefore, if you contact me after expiration, I cannot extend due to system limitations.

Can I book a private event?
Absolutely! We have done birthdays, bachelorette parties, friend reunions, group private meditations, and more. Just email laura@portwashingtonyoga.com and let me know what you need.

Can I book a private lesson to focus on MY specific needs?
Yes. While you can book this online, we recommend speaking to the yogi you are interested in working with and coordinating a schedule.
